Yes I am working on it. As this was my 1st article so I am facing little bit difficulty in improving it. But I will improve it and if I need help, I will ask you :) Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ubed junejo (talk • contribs) 19:32, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Hi I am Ubed Junejo As article Hazrat Khawaja Muhammad Zaman Luari Sharif represents a Sindhi Sufi poet so all material regarding him is in either Sindhi language or in Urdu language. In fact nothing about him has ever been published in English. So references or citations given in article are from books or web pages in Sindhi or Urdu. If you can not read or understand these languages you can contact any other Pakistani editor/contributor to verify the sources. Kind Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ubed junejo (talk • contribs) 12:22, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- @Ubed Junejo: Non-English sources are allowed on Wikipedia, however because this is the English-language Wikipedia, English-language sources are preferred over non-English ones according to guidelines. As with sources in English, if a dispute arises involving a citation to a non-English source, editors may request that a quotation of relevant portions of the original source be provided, either in text, in a footnote, or on the article talk page. Also, when quoting non-English sources, a translation into English should always accompany the quote. And most important is that you don't violate copyright material (see: fair use text). What mostly matters is that all claims are sourced according to the referencing criteria and style. Phill24th (talk) 12:34, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
Dear Phill24th: I am providing you with original source material with its English translation and information about where these sources are cited. You can then verify that translation using Google or Bing transaltor. Then kindly add that source material and its English translation where ever you find suitable. Thanks--Ubed junejo (talk) 12:56, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi Dear Phill24th, If I need to cite a source which has already been used for citation in the same article then should it be named again ? or waht? Please guide me in this regard. Kind regards --Ubed junejo (talk) 20:55, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
Hi dear Phill24th Please have a look on the article "Khawaja Muhammad Zaman Luari" now. Kindly do not forget to give your valuable suggestions. Kind regards --Ubed junejo (talk) 01:18, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
@Ubed junejo: Yes, the page looks good. Just a few more references, maybe arrange it so that every claim is referenced (note that you can use a single reference several times), and you should probably name the second reference in the list because it's just a link. After that you can remove the "ref improve" template, the article'll look great. Thank you for searching my advice, kind regards - Phill24th (talk) 19:53, 3 June 2014 (UTC).

Re your part(?) revert of my edit there, you really think this is better? I don't agree, you have re-introduced some inconsistencies in date styles i.e. DMY versus MDY etc. And what does "... with full suppression and elimination of the group" mean? Excessively wordy at best. "During the shootings.. " etc etc. Whoever wrote this is apparently not a native English speaker.
- "A shootout which erupted during a police raid between police forces and an armed group identifying as the National Liberation Army occurred on 9 May 2015 in the northern Macedonian town of Kumanovo"
Awful first sentence, which you reverted to. A few missing commas at least. I had:
- "During a police raid on 9 May 2015, a shootout erupted between Macedonian police forces and an armed group identifying as the National Liberation Army (NLA) in the northern Republic of Macedonia town of Kumanovo."
It is standard practise to have acronyms at the first use of a term i.e. National Liberation Army (NLA), but you removed that. Please take a closer look at what else I 'fixed'. How about this?:
- "The Kumanovo shootings were a shootout [or gun battle] that occurred on 9 to 10 May 2015 in Kumanovo city, Republic of Macedonia. It occurred between Macedonian police forces and an armed group identifying itself as the National Liberation Army (NLA)."
"gun battle" or similar is optional, "shootout" may be a bit POV, unless thats what the source says.
Sorry if above comes across a bit 'crabby', I actually wrote it over 12 hours ago after a day of very little sleep. Then I had a 'keyboard nap', woke up about 4 AM and 'hibernated' my PC without saving the message to Wikipedia! Regards, 220 of Borg 02:17, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, man, thank you for reaching me. All I can say, is, your lead just didn't roll off the tongue as the previous did, I read two "during"s at the start of the first two sentences and it didn't look nice. But, anyway, if you'll fix it per those standard practices, by all means, please do. I have nothing against fixing the lead. -. 02:31, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- I didn't notice the two 'durings', I'll take another look. (But I see the lead has been changed since last night.) Somebody though thought enough of it to basically copy it to the Kumanovo page! See here.
- • Oh dear, I just had a quick look at the recent edit history, this is quite a 'busy' and controversial page! A lot of back and forth POV editing it appears. I must say that I had heard nothing of this event in Australia, at least on the radio, my TV is broken at the moment!
- • Query, was this event a series of shootings / gun battles, as the title implies that, but it's not obvious to me.220 of Borg 04:37, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- Well, it was an organized police raid in order to stop a potential terrorist organization that has been collecting weapons within the country, most probably to attack state institutions and/or public events, but the armed group wouldn't let go without a fight. The internet is flooded with news for the event. By the way, do you mean that the Kumanovo or the shootings page is controversial? - Phill24th (talk). 09:09, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- I meant Kumanovo shootings is 'controversial'. The number of killed keep getting changed (10 or 14) for example. 220 of Borg 12:47, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah. Not really sure why that happens, I seriously can't find any souces regarding it. But, I dont think that makes the article controversial. As far as I see it, those were vandal edits, reverted. - Phill24th (talk). 14:02, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
