Cemre seeks revenge on Efsun by fabricating love letters and flowers to Arda from an unknown sender. Efsun suspects that they are from Zeynep. Cemre admits she fabricated them but said she did see Arda and Zeynep in a hotel. Efsun and Arda briefly break up, but then she reconciles with him after Cemre admit that this was a lie as well. Meanwhile, Ateş and Kenan finally meet, and Ateş hands him a bullet, promising Kenan that he will kill him with it. The bullet turned out to be a [[GPS]] tracker with a voice recorder. As Kenan gets to Bahar and holds her hostage, the police surround the premises and he is arrested. Mehmet is pleased about this and compels Hulya and Cemre to tell truth when they testify.

O Hayat Benim (English title: That is my life) is a Turkish television drama series, originally broadcast on FOX from 2014 to 2017.[1] The series follows Bahar who was snatched from her mother's arms (Hasret) at birth by her grandfather and is put to live with his servants until, many years later, the old man reveals her existence to her millionaire birthfather (Mehmet). As the birthfather comes to collect his daughter, the adoptive mother (Nuran) of Bahar uses her biological daughter Efsun in her stead to gain wealth for her poor family. Halfway throughout the series, the lie is revealed, but problems deepen between the characters residing in the Mehmet estate and those whose lives revolve around them.

Plot

Season 1

Bahar is a young girl who lives in the working class area of Istanbul with her mother Nuran, her father Ilyas, and her sister Efsun. Due to her family's bad financial situation, Bahar must drop out of school and work in a pastry shop to earn money. She is a kind, optimistic and valuable girl unlike her sister Efsun, who is selfish, loquacious and narcissistic, although still possessing compassion and sympathy. Bahar is actually adopted. She is the daughter of Mehmet Emir Atahan, a rich and successful businessman. It is a secret for many people, and for Bahar. Once upon a time, her real grandfather, Yusuf, did not want his daughter, Hasret, to marry Mehmet Emir. He separated them and hid her pregnancy from Mehmet Emir. During childbirth, Hasret, Bahar's mother, was told that Bahar died when really she was taken away from her. Bahar's biological grandfather, Yusuf, lied to Mehmet Emir and told him that Hasret had committed suicide, but she was alive. Yusuf gave Bahar to Ilyas, an honorable worker of his, whom he asked to raise Bahar as if she were his own daughter.

Years later, when Yusuf learned that he was dying, his last wish was to see his granddaughter. After many years, Yusuf visits Mehmet Emir and tells him he has a daughter. Meanwhile, Yusuf is accidentally killed after a fall after Nuran pushes him. Afraid of being arrested, Nuran and Ilyas decide to bury the body in the backyard, without anyone noticing. Although suspicions rise, with Sakina and Ismail suspecting. Bahar's adoptive parents Nuran and Ilyas do not tell her the truth about who she is, and when the Atahan family come in search of Bahar, Nuran sends her other daughter Efsun in place of Bahar to improve the life of her biological child. Efsun snips Bahar's hair to prove that she is Mehmet's daughter through a DNA test, and then begins to live the prestigious life that belongs to Bahar. Mehmet's sister, Hülya abhors Efsun and problems emanate between the two. The couple then live in Mehmet's secondary suite near the palace through Efsun's support. Coworker Alp had an interest in Bahar earlier, but now pursues Efsun for her social stature.

Season 2

Hasret returns to Mehmet and Fulya, Mehmet's current wife, is disgruntled. Bahar and Ateş begin exchanging vows until they are interrupted by a jealous Efsun, who falsely says that she slept with Ateş, enraging Bahar. The marriage is cancelled and Bahar cuts Ateş off for weeks. Bahar tries to commit suicide in the bathroom through carbon monoxide poisoning, but is rescued by Efsun. Hasret finally sees her "daughter" Efsun, although she first lays her eyes on Bahar due to their resemblance, thinking that she is her daughter. Because of her sister's status, Bahar now gets a job in an office building. Nuran schemes against Bahar and her lover Ateş, taking Ateş to Efsun, falsely impregnating her. On the day of Efsun and Ateş' wedding, Ateş proves that he did not impregnate Efsun and reveals the plot of Nuran to the whole family. Mehmet furiously expels them from the palace.

Nuran spots Hulya's mother Edibe unconscious in a chair, after suffering from a stroke. Later as Edibe recovers, Hulya learns that Edibe planned the deaths of Ateş's parents. To gain leniency and sympathy from the law and people alike, Edibe pretends to be mute (with only Hulya knowing), although Efsun suspects that she's faking it. Asim leaves his wife Hulya for Seçil, Sakine's niece (who are Nuran's neighbours), shattering Hulya. Efsun intoxicates Ateş in his home to sleep with him, although it is later revealed that she does not sleep with him. Osman attempts to assassinate Mehmet, but instead shoots Ateş, who was trying to protect him. Later, Nuran falls on her head, injuring her, and Efsun blames Hulya for pushing Nuran, although that was not the case.

Efsun, Nuran, Ilyas and Sakine are jailed for the accidental death of a Mehmet estate servant, but are later released. Ilyas's sister Mucella blames Nuran for getting Ilyas in jail and despises her. Hulya's mother Edibe commits suicide in prison by overdosing on pills. Hulya is inconsolable and blames Ateş for her death, as he revengefully threw her in jail since she orchestrated his parents' assassination. Ilyas demands Nuran to divorce because she becomes unreasonable and unbalanced. She is killed in a fiery bus accident, whilst traveling to Bursa. Sultan, Efsun's maternal aunt, was the person who delivers the news of Nuran's death. She becomes very close to Efsun, taking her mother's role in all affairs, where they eventually confide in one another.

Efsun is still inconsolable and therefore becomes ruthless after her mother's death. She estranges Bahar and blames her for Nuran's death, where she attempts to shoot her, though the bullet hits Ismail, injuring him. Ismail and Efsun began dating at this point. Bahar then travels to Cyprus with Ateş to escape and Efsun regrets what she did. A few days later, Efsun gets infected with pneumonia where her lungs fail and is in a critical condition. Hasret becomes sorrowful over this because she does not want to lose her daughter again, and Ismail becomes afflicted as well. Bahar is devastated by the news, returning to her sister, who eventually awakens. A week later, Efsun's kidney fails, but a donor is quickly found (though Hulya had initially bribed the conferrer to halt the donation). Mehmet then transfers his estate through coercion to Hulya to save Efsun's life, after she threatens him. Mehmet is furious when he learns about the bribe. Problem ensues between him and Hulya, where she insists that Efsun is a conniving person, and should not be endorsed, but to no avail.

Because Hulya is combative with Efsun, Sultan uses sneaky tactics to drive her insane, and yet nobody believes Hulya that Sultan and Efsun are bringing this madness upon her. Hulya strangles her daughter Müge in her sleep, thinking it was Efsun. The family cannot stand Hulya's pernicious outbreaks, so she is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, though she runs away a few days later. With the help of Mucella, Salih transfers Yusuf's body to a yard at Mehmet's mansion. Mehmet is arrested because the body is found in his manor's grounds, with Hulya being the accomplice. On court day, Bahar is held captive by Salih because she wants to reveal the truth about Yusuf's death.

Season 3

After escaping from her captivity, Bahar arrives at the court to tell the truth, but Efsun herself first reveals the truth about Yusuf's death in the courtroom, infuriating Hasret. Mehmet and Hulya therefore become acquitted. Hulya reinstates Mehmet's financial estate as a gesture of her love towards her brother. Just after Ilyas's house is burnt down by Hulya, Ateş discovers that Bahar is the true daughter of Mehmet and Hasret after reading a letter from Nuran (at Yusuf's home in Mersin) that included Bahar's photos as she is growing up. He learned that Efsun stole Bahar's life for her own greedy benefits, as instigated by Nuran. Sultan, Ilyas, Mucella and Salih are Efsun's accomplices. Ateş reveals the truth to Bahar at the site of her burnt home. An anguished Bahar heads to the Mehmet mansion, where a house party is taking place, to call out Efsun for her unforgivable lie. Efsun is guilt-ridden and speechless for being exposed in front of the guests. Hasret is skeptic of the verity at first, but then becomes delirious after accepting the truth. Hulya expels Efsun and her accompanying family from the mansion's garden.

Ilyas attempts to hang himself due to guilt, but is saved by Bahar and his neighbours. Bahar still does not forgive him. He undergoes surgery due to his broken neck with money funding. Zeynep makes an appearance, alongside her mother Ganimet and extended family. Hulya's son Arda and Zeynep begin having a relationship, albeit a rocky one. Meanwhile, Ateş's ex-girlfriend has returned from Switzerland and, unbeknownst to Ateş, that she has a 7 year old son with him. Bahar presses charges against Efsun, who is later arrested and suffers from abuse in jail (perpetrated by Hulya). Efsun and Sultan believe that Bahar is scheming her abuse. Bahar loses trust and faith in everybody at this point, pushing away her biological parents as well. Shortly after, Efsun is released from jail by a lawyer. She violently taunts Bahar as an act of retaliation. Efsun slowly recovers and moves into the Mehmet estate in spite of Bahar.

Efsun, Sultan and Salih propose a strategical plan to obtain money from Arda by having him "kill" someone. That someone is hired to be part of the ruse and is supposed to protect Efsun after Arda confronts her for scratching his car. However, the artifice goes awry after Arda accidentally kills him. Salih films the incident from a window with Sultan. After learning of the man's death, the trio threaten to inform the authorities on Arda, unless he pays them a lot of money. Indeed, Arda pays them. Later, they coerce Arda to marry Efsun, because she is desperate to reside in the Atahan mansion and wants to rival Bahar, who are now estranged. He does so reluctantly and they marry in Paris. Bahar finally accepts Mehmet and Hasret as her parents.

The Atahan family notices the mass deduction of Mehmet's funds, after Arda inherits his uncle's estate. Hulya learns Efsun is his wife to her deep shock. The trio reveal the truth to Hulya about Arda killing someone to keep her under their leash. Ilyas reports Sultan and Salih to the police after suspecting the huge of money they have been collecting is stolen, but are released after Arda begrudgingly tells the authorities he gave them the money as gift. Mehmet is diagnosed with brain cancer, after having many nosebleeds. Bahar becomes the holder of her father's estate. Arda and Efsun have a wedding party, although he and his mother are still discomfited. Zeynep later gets married to Jamal in spite of Arda, although Zeynep and Arda still have feelings for each other. All household items of the Mehmet estate are sold by Bahar in spite of Efsun, though Efsun later refurbishes the mansion with her stolen saved money.

The body of the man that Arda accidentally killed is found, with news reaching his widowed mother, whom she thinks Salih is his killer. Hulya's daughter Müge has had enough of the lies and coverups where she flees from the mansion and gets in a car accident, alongside Efsun, who was sitting with her to stop her. The family is thankful for Efsun, who rescued Müge. Out of spite, Efsun reveals the fact that Bahar was quiet all this time when Yusuf's body was hidden. Hulya banishes Bahar from the mansion after learning about this and Mehmet distances himself from Bahar.

After a series of unfortunate events, Ateş leaves to Switzerland and plans to marry Arzu, grieving Bahar. Efsun learns that it was Hulya who paid inmates to beat her in prison, not Bahar. Efsun goes to inform Bahar about this at Ateş's home, where it accidentally ignites. She and Hasret rescue Bahar, with the three finally ending up somewhat amicable. Bahar visits Ateş in Switzerland, but Arzu deliberately blocks her calls on his phone. Bahar and Ateş finally cross paths, but tells her it is too late even though he still honors her. Meanwhile, Fulya overhears Sultan, Efsun and Hulya speaking about Arda killing someone, devastating her. Later, she is hit by a car after getting to Mehmet who was in an altered state of consciousness on a highway due to his brain tumor. She required blood transfusion. Efsun and Sultan kindly offer to donate their blood, as they have the same blood type as Fulya's. In her hospital bed, Fulya reveals to Mehmet about Arda being a murderer and the issue being kept a secret, blacking him out.

Mehmet undergoes brain surgery for his brain tumor, handing his managerial positions to Ateş and Bahar, demanding the two to get back with each other. Fulya becomes overwrought and agitated with Efsun, Sultan, Hulya and Arda for hiding such a malicious secret, threatening to call Ismail on them, although they thwart her. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Sultan is the birthmother of Zeynep, Ganimet's now-adopted daughter, who is given to her 25 years ago by Ilyas and a reluctant Nuran. Sultan offered a baby Zeynep to the couple as she could not take care of it, but they handed the baby to Ganimet. Although present day Sultan believes Efsun is her daughter. A perturbated Ganimet refuses to let go of her daughter. Hanife (Ganimet's sister-in-law's daughter) overhears this revelation, where she threatens to expose the truth out of sheer jealousy.

Sultan, Efsun and Salih are suddenly kidnapped by Hulya's past lover Kenan and are forced to bury themselves. Sultan pleads for mercy and hands in the flash drive that had the footage of Arda killing a man. Kenan frees them, but warns them that they must leave Hulya alone or suffer the consequences. Salih reveals to Efsun and Sultan that he had a CD sealed inside his workshop's walls, which contains all the evidence of Arda murdering the man. Hulya expels Efsun and Sultan from the castle. Mehmet wakes up from a successful surgery, after being visited by a vindictive Kenan (whom Ateş notices). Meanwhile, Ateş's son Doruk goes missing after Arzu falls asleep from too much drinking. After Efsun hears of this news, she brings her neighbours (Ganimet, Muzafar, Cevriye, Zeynep, Jamal) and as well as her father Ilyas to help them look for Doruk, delighting Bahar and Ateş. It is revealed that Doruk is kidnapped and held hostage by Kenan's men.

Doruk suffers from brain hemorrhage after falling from a broken baluster during a chase and later dies in hospital. Kenan deeply regrets this consequence and Ismail ferociously sets out to find the culprit after questioning Kenan's collaborator. Kenan plans to infiltrates Mehmet's family estate by using Hülya as his love interest. Mehmet and Arda are staunchly against this. In spite of his mother, Arda takes Efsun with him to his uncle Mehmet's award party. At Hulya's and Kenan's wedding, Arda attempts to shoot Kenan, but Efsun deters his aim. Bahar compassionately reunites with her adoptive father Ilyas, finally forgiving him.

Ateş is disappointed in Bahar for not signing a deal at Atahan's family business office, because Ismail suspects the share might be transferred to a hostile source (which is Kenan). As Bahar takes a walk in the snowfields at a holiday ranch, Arzu threatens her to leave Ateş, but then accidentally pushes her into a frozen lake and leaves her for dead. Ateş is devastated to learn what Arzu did Bahar and immediately wants a divorce. Arda gets more intimate with Efsun just in spite of Hulya (for being with Kenan). Meanwhile, Fulya gives birth to a baby boy at Ganimet's place. Later, Fulya accidentally pushes Kenan down the stairs after he ominously visits her baby in the crib, intimidating Hulya tremendously.

It is learned that Kenan abducted Doruk because Ateş had a share in the Mehmet family business and he wanted to use that for his own advantage. After having his men investigate Fulya, Kenan learns that Fulya's son is not Mehmet's, as he is infertile due to his cancer illness. He threatens Fulya to reveal this fact at her son's party, in which he does, although she tries to foil him by brandishing a knife at him. Mehmet is furious at her for holding this secret and Hulya immediately evicts her from the mansion. Sultan and Efsun have compassion for Fulya, taking her to Ilyas's and Cevriye's place for refuge. Meanwhile, Efsun and Arda open a boutique shop. For the first time, Arda embrace Efsun to comfort her about recent events.

Out of spite for being banished by Mehmet and Hulya, Fulya informs the police that Arda is the killer and he is arrested in Cyprus by homicide detective Ismail and his assistant Cengiz. Efsun feels pity and remorse for Arda, as the two begin to develop intimate feelings for each other. Efsun and Arda were in Cyprus for her to receive artificial insemination in spite of Hulya's relationship with Kenan. Because of Hulya's devastation, Kenan offers his man money just to falsely capitulate himself in Arda's stead. The man hands himself in and Arda is released, where he goes to embrace Efsun and not his mother, shocking her and Kenan. Mehmet amicably divorces Fulya and goes back to Hasret. Meanwhile, Sultan learns that Efsun is not her daughter, becoming enraged with Ilyas. Later, Hanifeh tells her that she knows who her daughter is, but would need money at first to reveal the truth. Kenan and his men set up a time bomb on a boat that Hasret and Mehmet are on, where it explodes and kills Hasret, even though Mehmet was their aim.

Hanifeh accidentally falls from Ganimet's window after threatening to reveal Zeynep being Sultan's daughter. Ganimet is arrested and jailed after Hanifeh falsely reports her, but is soon released. Bahar and Efsun are kidnapped by Hasret's male relatives who want to inherit her estate. They escape in a car accident and are lost in Adana, worrying their loved ones. Meanwhile Cemre, a beautiful young woman, is set up by Kenan to have Mehmet fall in love with her, so they can torment him, although she is regretful about the scheme. Bahar and Efsun grow more close to each other before they are captured in a restaurant, but are promptly rescued by its owner who beat up the three culprits. Efsun tells Ismail that she does not love him anymore for throwing her in jail, where she reunites with Arda after their rescue.

Bahar cuts ties with her father Mehmet and moves out of the mansion after seeing Cemre lying in bed with him (although she does it deliberately, unbeknownst to him). Kenan incites Arzu to kill Ateş for divorcing her. Sultan throws a violent temper tantrum at Hanife and her mother Cevriye for not revealing who her daughter is, where she sieges their home, in which they escape. Efsun pleads Ilyas to tell the truth, in which he does. Before escaping, Arzu accidentally shoots Sultan and wounds her, when she was aiming for Ateş, at Ilyas's home. Meanwhile, Hulya is very wary of Cemre and wants her out of Mehmet's life. Kenan has Arzu arrested to save face in front of Ateş. Efsun open her boutique shop with Bahar working in the reception. Arda falls in love with Efsun, asking to remarry her at Zeynep's fashion catwalk, where she accepts, to Hulya's devastation. Thanks to Mehmet, Jamal becomes Muge's driver, after he saved her from a sexual assault.

Kenan orders Cemre and her sister-in-law Meryem to work in the mansion as servants, disgruntling Hulya. Sultan, Zeynep, Bahar, Arda and Efsun vacation in Antalya, and return to make a surprise wedding for Bahar and Ateş. Bahar forgives her father Mehmet. Both he and Ilyas walk her down the aisle. At Mehmet's estate, Kenan ridicules Bahar and Ateş by throwing money at them. As an act of retaliation, they all throw champagne on his face. To his ire, he calls for his right-hand man Eyüp to assassinate the couple in their hotel. Cemre hears of this and goes to thwart the plan, who is then stabbed by Kenan's men in the hotel. At the hospital, Cemre is threatened by Kenan's sister Meryem that if she reports this, she will kill her son. Kenan's henchman Eyüp has had enough of Kenan's abuse, where he tries to kill Hulya and her daughter Muge in the car. Jamal saves him, who is their driver. Kenan thanks Jamal and then requests that he join him as part of his team, in which he does.

Ateş learns from Cemre that Eyüp stabbed her and it was Eyüp who wanted to kill Ateş and Bahar at the hotel. To cover himself, Kenan forces Eyüp to write a suicide note, where he would later hang himself against his will. In the note it was written that Eyüp kidnapped and killed Doruk, Ateş's son. Ateş does not believe this and insists that Kenan is behind this, where he reaches him at the roof and hit him with a wooden panel, injuring him. Jamal and Muge begin to develop feelings for each other, after his relationship with Zeynep deteriorates. As an act of revenge, Zeynep takes advantage of an intoxicated Arda, and this is filmed by Hanife. Although they do not do anything. The act infuriates Sultan, and Efsun leaves Arda to travel to Milano.

A drunk Salih reveals to Cevriye that Arda killed a man and Efsun forced herself to marry him, where she informs Ganimet about this and scolds Sultan. Zeynep begins to despise Sultan for this, where she almost reveals this plot to a crowd at a fashion conference, but is stopped after she notices how Arda and Efsun are truly in love with each other. Ganimet tells Sultan that as long as she keeps her adopted daughter Zeynep, she will not report the elaborate gambit perpetrated by Sultan and Efsun. Mehmet starts to fall for Cemre. Efsun becomes pregnant with Arda. Hulya is displeased by the news at first, but quickly changes and becomes amicable with Efsun for the sake of her forthcoming grandchild. Out of regret, Cemre reveals to Mehmet that she was set up by Kenan to infiltrate and torment his life. Mehmet kicks out Kenan from the manor. It is revealed that Kenan is Cemre's husband and Meryem is his sister.

At another court appearance, Bahar and Ateş drop charges against Efsun for stealing her Bahar's life, and she is discharged. Zeynep is paid by fashion designer Affan to work for him, but then regrets it and returns to her mothers (Sultan and Ganimet). Kenan threatens to report Ateş by showing him security footage of Ateş hitting him with a log. Ateş hands himself in to the police as he does not want to be reported by someone like Kenan. Meanwhile, Fulya meets Hulya at a coffeeshop, telling her that she ruined her marriage with Mehmet. Fulya pours Sultan's antihypertensive drug in Hulya's coffee, poisoning her, where she ends up in a critical condition. She recovers and suffers memory loss (retrograde amnesia) where she does not recognise her family. She runs away from them and hitchhikes a man named Vural. The family comes to Vural's farmhouse to collect Hulya, who was hesitant to go as she still has no recollection of her old life..

Affan's men beat up Sultan and Ganimet for disrespecting him on his boat and for refusing their daughter to marry him. Efsun is furious about this, where she taunts and mocks Affan, who then puts a price on her head. As Efsun is about to be assassinated by his henchman, the bullet hits Ismail, mortally wounding him. Ismail is replaced by a fierce and unforgiving chief, Omer. In prison, it is revealed that Ateş's inmate Tayfun is his father. After Affan burns down Efsun's boutique, Efsun gathers her neighbours to raid Affan's boat, where they kidnap him and taunt him. After Affan has the upper hand, he is then subdued by Omer and Cengiz, where he is arrested. Four weeks later, Ateş is released from prison after promising that he will release his father Tayfun. Bahar reveals to Ateş that she is pregnant with him, to his elation. All of a sudden, Sultan's ex-husband Macit returns and she is not happy about it, nor is Zeynep. They constantly evade him because he was abusive to Sultan. Cemre returns to Mehmet and Hulya suddenly regains her memories.

Ateş's father Tayfun tells him that Kenan is the serial killer who killed Ateş' parents when he was a child, so Ateş seeks revenge. When Kenan is about to kill Ateş, Bahar shoots and seriously wounds him. Ateş claims responsibility for Bahar's sake and asks the officers to arrest him. Bahar becomes a fugitive after the police view Vural's video footage of her shooting Kenan. Mehmet and Hulya learn that Bahar was his shooter, devastating Mehmet, where he gets infuriated with Ateş. Efsun and Arda try to escape Bahar with the help of their neighbors to Mersin as Omer is on her trail. As Omer and his team arrive to Mersin to arrest Bahar, she inadvertently pushes Efsun in front of an oncoming car, killing her fetus and causing her to become permanently infertile. Efsun gains ill-feelings towards Bahar, who is now imprisoned and had come across Arzu, Ateş's ex, in jail. Because of these consequences, Ateş's Tayfun commits suicide due to his guilt. Cemre reveals to Mehmet and Hulya that Kenan was behind everything, including Hasret's and Doruk's death, exasperating Mehmet. They report Kenan to Omer, who then desperately tries to seek him.

Kenan escapes from the hospital with the help of his men. At court, Bahar is sentenced 9 years in prison for the attempt on Kenan's life. Seven months later, Bahar gives birth to a baby girl. As an act of revenge on behalf of Efsun, Sultan bribes Zuhal, a fraudster posing as a nurse to steal Bahar's baby for them for 100,000 lira, though Efsun is hesitant about this scheme. Zuhal informs Bahar that her baby died from a lung condition, before handing it to Efsun and Sultan. Later, a man dispatched by Kenan throws acid on Bahar's face in her hospital bed for what she did to Kenan. Meanwhile, Ateş, Ilyas and Arda, tumble down a cliff in a car after being chased by Kenan's man who was driving a truck, since Kenan wants Ateş dead. Hulya goes mad and suffers guilt after learning that her mother Edibe was behind Kenan's killings. She burns down the mansion as she stands in the balcony, deliberately locking her brother Mehmet, his wife Cemre and Kenan's sister Meryem inside for having implications, thus concluding the third season of the show.

Season 4

The fourth season is set 5 years later. Ilyas perished in the car crash, with Arda and Ateş being critically injured. During the 5 years, Hulya was admitted in a psychiatric hospital and had undergone electroconvulsive therapy. The burnt down manor was rebuilt, with Cemre, Mehmet's wife, being the a shareholder of the property, replacing Hulya. Mehmet had lost his business. Ateş divorced Bahar in prison to give her a happy and safe life, since he believes that every unfortunate thing happened to her because of him. Bahar's daughter named Nuran is 5 years old living with her faux mother and father, Efsun and Arda, respectively. Efsun has gotten wealthier due to her job in the fashion industry. She resides in Bodrum with a Japanese housemaid called Teya. Her cousin Zeynep is now a successful actress, whom she has growing feelings for Arda.

Efsun gets a phone call from Bahar, telling her that she will be released on parole and that she is eager to meet Nuran. This distresses Efsun, where she thinks Bahar might recognise her daughter and take her away from her. As Bahar finds a job with her best friend Figen in the fishing industry, she sees Zuhal, the nurse impostor, where she suspects her intentions, such as leaving her nurse job just after her daughter died. Meanwhile, Ateş is hunting Kenan. He gets close with Nehir, Kenan's niece, to get to him, though he uses a different name (Deniz) so he remains hidden. Bahar and Efsun reunite, and Bahar becomes close with Nuran, which invokes jealousy in Efsun. Bahar tells Ateş she wants him back, then sees dozens of photos of Nehir in his room (because he spied on her to reach Kenan), where she disposes of her ring to her disappointment. Zuhal and her brother Volkan threaten to expose the truth about Nuran, but are then given a taxi job by Sultan and Salih so they remain quiet. In Burdum, Hulya meets her "granddaughter" Nuran and apologizes to Bahar for Kenan. Meanwhile, Sakine's niece Seçil returns and lives with Ganimet after Asim (Hulya's ex) leaves her.

Ateş beats up the man who threw acid on Bahar as an act of retaliation. Hulya and the Arda family return to the manor to live amicably, although Cemre stirs up tensions. Efsun gets even more agitated to see Bahar and Nuran getting more affectionate with each other. Nehir plans to meet Ateş (Deniz) with her uncle Kenan in his marina. Ateş directs Omer and his men to the premises, although Kenan escapes with Jamal. Ateş tells Jamal to rethink about his friendship with Kenan. Arda suddenly overhears Efsun talking about Nuran being Bahar's biological daughter, with Sultan. He commands Efsun to tell Bahar the truth, but she implores him not to. As both Arda and Efsun decide to tell Bahar and Arda the truth, Nuran overhears the two saying they want to give her away, where she locks herself in the bathroom out of disappointment. Arda and Efsun then decide to keep her.

After Ateş's business colleague Nedim investigates Zuhal's background, as requested by Bahar, he discovers the fact that she was a false nurse, devastating Bahar, whom she thinks Zuhal was behind her newborn's death. Zuhal solemnly swears that she did not harm her, despite being a fraudster. Efsun hands Bahar her daughter's death certificate, reassuring Bahar of her death. Later, Bahar catches Ateş with Nehir and gets very upset after hearing her calling him Deniz, her daughter's name. Nehir finds out Ateş's real name and discovers why he was after her – To catch Kenan. Nehir is disquieted about Kenan, after learning that he was behind the deaths and tells him to stay away from Ateş. Bahar finally forgives Mehmet, after he visits her. Meanwhile, Hulya and Efsun spy on Cemre where they catch her with Kenan. Mehmet is appalled by Cemre consorting with him.

The bullet turned out to be a GPS tracker with a voice recorder. As Kenan gets to Bahar and holds her hostage, the police surround the premises and he is arrested. Mehmet is pleased about this and compels Hulya and Cemre to tell truth when they testify.
