About Me

I am 24 years old and a Community Coordinator for the Wikimedia Community User Group Kenya. I am also a Junior Developer for The Good Company. I began to take an interest in Wiki projects in 2017 and have so far organized several events/editathons such as WikiGap. I continue to organize photo contests such as Wiki Loves Africa, Wiki Loves Earth. I was also the Kenyan organizer for the Visible Wiki Women campaign.

I have a vision to grow the Wikipedia Community in my country and continue to fight the gender gap. Promotion of open education will go a long way to promote digital literacy in my country. I aim to introduce as many people as I can to this concept and also the idea of adding content and writing articles on Wikipedia.
