A notable achievement for Tangi came on 25 March 2018 when Dr. Nadeem Jan resident of Tangi Nusratzai Mohallah Fateh Kheil was awarded the prestigious award of Tamgha e Imtiaz https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the president of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This was the first time in the history of entire District Charsadda and Tehsil Tangi that such honor has been earned by its resident.Dr. Nadeem Jan was also earlier awarded " The Highest civil Award" by Somalian President which is the 1st time in history that a foreigner has been decorated with this award by the Somalian Government. Dr. Nadeem Jan is also recipient of Prestigious Civil awards from US and Philippines Government. |

Tangi is a Tehsil (town as in some places) and union council of Charsadda District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.[1]
