On June 16, 2022, 70-year-old Robert Findlay Smith[1] opened fire during a potluck meeting at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, United States. Initially, Two people were reported dead and 1 person injured.[2] Subsequently, the injured person died resulting in 3 dead.[3][4][5]
