The Electron engine, developed by Obsidian Entertainment, is a 3D video game engine, based on BioWare's Aurora Engine. It's used in Obsidian's Neverwinter Nights 2. It features faster graphics and pixel-based shading technology, and is rumored to be very efficient. However, unlike its predecessor it has no support for other platforms than Windows.
