Yeprem Jewellery (known as YEPREM) is a Beirut-owned luxury jewellery brand. It is headquartered in Beirut and has its own atelier.[1][2] It sells jewellery, crystals, watches, personal accessories, hand bracelets, ear cuffs[3], and Armenian cultural bracelets depicting Khachkars. These goods are sold online and at points of sale, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Austria, Cyprus, Russia, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, and Mexico.[4] It is located across 22 stores around the world.[5]

YEPREM was founded in 1964 by Yeprem Chakardemian in Lebanon. Until today, the business remains under the control of the family's second generation, Virna, Loutfic, and John.[6]

Early history

In 1964, Yeprem Chakardemian was inspired by a golden family bracelet passed upon him by his mother, which became a turning point in the family's history.[6] At the age of 15, Yeprem debuted his craftsmanship in the jewellery manufacturing and watchmaking industry by creating artistic pieces in unique styles, integrating the cultures of both Lebanon and Armenia.[6]
