Tehreek-e-Soutul Awliya (Template:Lang-ur), often abbreviated as T.S.A., is an Islamic religious seminary and welfare organisation in Jammu and Kashmir.[1][2][3][4]
History
Tehreek-e-Soutul Awliya was announced in 2005 by Abdul Rashid Dawoodi[5][6][7][8][9] during an Islamic conference held in Kehribal village, Anantnag district. The organisation was established shortly afterwards by Yaseen Akhtar Misbahi.[10] It started as a small madrasa.[11][12] Later, Fayaz Ahmed Rizvi was appointed as its president and Muhammad Yusuf Baba as the general secretary.[13] Over years, it became one of the major religious organisations of Jammu and Kashmir.[14][15]
Activities
Every year on the 5th of May, TSA organizes its annual conference whose proclaimed aim is to unite the Muslim community.[16]
In 2018, TSA distributed flood relief to 2018 Kerala floods victims.[17]
