The Sixth Sense (Template:Lang-th) is a Thai television series based on the books of the same name. The series is produced by Cholumpi Production. It aired from September 1 – October 14, 2012 for season 1 and from September 29 – November 29, 2013 for the second season.

In the book series, there are 5 books which each features their own story. All five stories are shown within the television series, though these take place over several episodes. Not all of the characters from the book series are shown throughout the series. For example, two main characters, Kab Dak Rak Luang and Ma Ya Roi Jai, portrayed by male leads, Jaron Sorat [th] and Rattaphoom Tokongsup [th], only appear at the beginning of season 2.[1]

Plot

Five girls – Yanin, Kanna, Sukontharot, Kornrampa and Nedsithang – were born on the same date. They each receive a unique “sixth sense” on their birthday which allows them to communicate with spirits.[2][3]

Tinn, owner of a resort in Kanchanaburi province, faces problems that were disturbed by the spirit of her grandfather and by her business rival.[3]

Season 2

Tells what happens inside Tinn's resort as the main storyline. Benja, the girl who got injured in an accident and has Amnesia. Tinn and Yanin bring her back to the resort and meets with Mirantee, Tinn's mother, who just came back from abroad. Mirantee doesn't believe in the spirit at all and is not satisfied with Yanin, because she thinks Yanin is a scammer.

Later, Benja does everything for the attention of Tinn and Mirantee, which makes Mirantee love and cheer her with Tinn. This further developed after the coming of Robby Kids, a businessman who want to invest in the resort, but was actually a Somkid shaman.

Benja and Robby Kids try to befriend and build the trust of Mirantee for their own benefit, so Tinn and Yanin work together to prove the truth for helping Mirantee from the scammers.

Season 2

Kanna, the second girl who can hear the sound of spirit has to wear the headphone all the time when she was out of the Sixth Sense company. She is assigned to get rid of the woman's spirit that following Panyuth and that make her meet the old friend whose name is Joh.[4]

Season 1

Sukontharot, the girl who can smell the scent of the spirit, and she is the most skilled in spiritual matters because her uncle is a monk. She has to deal with the problems of Trirat's family that is going astray with a shaman, Somkid's doctrine.[5]

Sukontharot and Trirat became a couple and have moved to live in the same house but it has the story of a child spirit who is always angry and cries in the mysterious room, she is Trirat's younger sister, Botun. She died in the accident but has something that she is still worried about, so Sukontharot has to find what Botun was eager to do.

Season 2

Kornrampa, the rich man's daughter who always wears the gloves because she can see the past of anything if she touches it. She is a big fan of Park Joon-ji, the Thai-born Koran actor and he doesn't believe in the spirit. One day, he came to Thailand for a drama shooting, only to find that his only relative, Pimpilart grandmother, died mysteriously and he feels that his grandmother's spirit is around him. So he decided to be a customer of the Sixth Sense company and solve the mystery.[6]

Season 1

Nedsithang, she is the most prim, naive and fearful among the fives, her eyes can see the spirit so she always wears the sunglasses when she is in public. Furthermore, she gets overprotected by her brother, Natthadech. He initially dislikes Worawat, the forensic technician, because he thought that Worawat had taken his girlfriend away. But all three have to work together for find the truth behind Baimon,[7]the musical actress' death.

Suphitcha, Natthadech's ex-girlfriend returns to be involved in his life, she fools him that she loves him but actually, she does everything to reconcile with Worawat. But when the things don't turn out the way she wanted, she decides to cooperate with Benja to get rid of Nedsithang, Worawat's lover, instead.
