- Not necessary. It's true that all Rockenfeller families originated in Neuwied, Germany, but they are not all related. It's just that many families from there took the name "Rockenfeller". 178.201.23.62 (talk) 07:50, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
I don't think anyone wants to read the unbacked claim of someone who doesn't know the difference between "necessary," and "necessarily." Rockenfeller consists of two languages, which is improper. There's very low odds that the name was taken up by multiple, unrelated families in Germany, while half the name is Dutch.
