Hwang Dae-heon (Template:Lang-ko; born 5 July 1999) is a South Korean short track speed skater. He also currently holds the world record in men's 1000 metres short track speed skating.

He represented South Korea in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and won the silver medal in the men's 500 metres short track speed skating.[1]

Representing South Korea again in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, he won the gold medal in the 1500 metres event and the silver medal in the 5000 metres relay event of men's short track speed skating. During the games, he also set the Olympic record for the men's 1000 metres event.

In May 2022, in the Korean national representative selection, Hwang withdrew the event due to the aftermath from the infection of COVID-19 on March. It made him had to dropped from all the international competition in 2022–23 season.[2][3][4]
