SMNI News Channel is a Filipino free-to-air news television network based in Makati City. It is owned and operated by Swara Sug Media Corporation, the parent company of Sonshine Media Network International, a religious broadcasting arm of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) led by Filipino televangelist, church leader, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.[1][2]

It airs national and international newscasts and talk shows, rolling news coverages from correspondents and reporters of SMNI Manila and other news bureaus in the Philippines and in more than 40 countries around the world and Kingdom-related programs.[3]

According to a report by news website Rappler, the network is allegedly known for using disinformation, misleading claims and propaganda to attack journalists and critics of the Duterte government.[4] It is also accused of having a right-wing bias in their reporting.[5]

It is exclusively aired over Digital terrestrial television on UHF Channel 40 in Metro Manila and UHF Channel 19 in Davao Central, with selected programs simulcasting live via SMNI News Channel's Facebook page and YouTube channel, as well as on their main channel SMNI.[6]

During the 2022 Philippine general election, it hosted a presidential debate and presidential interviews, with 5 out of the 10 presidential candidates attending the debate. It has also hosted 2 senatorial debates.
