Yangon General Hospital (Template:Lang-my; formerly known as the Rangoon General Hospital), built in 1911 is a major hospital located in Yangon. It is located on Lanmadaw (formerly Godwin) Road. It is particularly known for its Victorian-style architecture (although dilapidated), which consists of red brick and yellow-painted trimmings. A new Emergency Ward has been constructed on the western part of the compound. The University of Medicine-1 is also attached to the hospital compound.
