History
In 1989, Abdul Sacuur opened an electrical appliance store in Caboolture, Queensland trading under the Brisbane Electrical Television and Trades Association (BETTA) banner. Several years later in 1998, the store began trading as Bi-Rite Electrical after moving away from the Betta group. In late 2006, the Betta Stores Ltd group was placed into administration.[1]
In 2012, 30 Retravision stores joined Bi-Rite after Retravision Southern Division ran into financial difficulty. [2]
