Raavan (transl. Evil) is a 2022 Indian Bengali-language action thriller film directed by MN Raj and produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani and Amit Jumrani under the banner of Jeetz Filmworks. It stars Jeet, Lahoma Bhattacharya and Tanusree Chakraborty.[1]

Reception
Shamayita Chakraborty from E Times gave it three stars out of five and praised the movie saying Raavan is an expensive film and the sophisticated action sequences, makeup, aesthetics, and song sequences reflect that. It celebrates the kind of unfiltered violence one gets to see in south blockbusters. Raavan is for those who love action . Such brutality is not often seen in the Bengali film spectrum. The technicians and fight masters have done a good job.[6] Sangbad Pratidin gave Raavan 3.5 star out of 5 saying that Jeet's Raavan avatar is impressive and attractive to see and the screenplay of this film is very good.[7]
According to Ananda Bazar, Raavan will bring back the urban audience to the theatre again.[8][9]
Ei Samay reviewed it and gave it 3.5 stars out of 5.
