What race are Egyptians?

Since Egypt is situated in Africa It is is only fair that they are in fack of the "black" race but they are lighter. In Africa we also have the Ethiopians and right here in south Africa we have the koi San and they are also consiserd to be of the black race. In conclusion it is only fair that the people of Egypt are in fact of the same race since they are situated in Africa.

In the morden age since the colonization you do find white people in Egypt. The indigenous people of Egypt are black. (disclaimer :just my opinion) 102.249.2.18 (talk) 16:14, 13 March 2022 (UTC)

Citizens or Ethnic Group

An editor changed the page so that the focus was Egyptians as citizens of Egypt. Another editor put it back was it was with focus on the ethnic group. The first editor reverted THAT so we were back to citizens. Before reverting the change to the stable version, I had a look at page history and found that the page used to say that it was about citizens AND the ethnic group (some years ago). Thus it is hard to take sides on this, but as per WP:BRD it is time we discussed what the focus of the page should be. Is this page about Egyptians as an ethnic group? Is it about Egyptians as being exactly those who are citizens of Egypt from any ethnic group? Or is it both? There doesn't seem to be any guidance on the matter on this page. Yes, you did the right thing. The page is about Egyptians as an ethnic group. Nubians do have their own separate page. Fragrant Peony (talk) 22:15, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
