This article needs a section on politics

Novozelic created JAMPAC, an organisation whose purpose was to fight for freedom of speech for musical artists.

Novoselic has been particularly concerned with ballot access. He spoke about ballot access at the 2006 Libertarian National Convention.

He was scheduled to speak at the WA libertarian party convention this past saturday, 3/28, if anyone wants to look into it and add info Tuggler (talk) 14:48, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He wrote a book titled, if I remember correctly, Of Grunge and Government.

He has donated $250 to Ron Paul for his 2008 bid for the presidency.

He is, I believe, a registered Democrat.

So, yeah, a politics section is much needed for this article.

Definitely should be a politics section as it has been part of his public life. However, as I recall he formed JAMPAC in the mid-90s, not recently as the article currently implies. Also, I recall him using his celebrity to draw attention to the Serb-Croation war, which might be worth adding if someone is knowledgable. CAVincent (talk) 01:20, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can only second that... both pictures right now are laughable. It looks like an explicit statement that Krist is almost invisible... on the first picture you have to guess who is Kirst and the second one is a good Kurt Cobain photograph, but nothing else... --Demon from Walmart (talk) 05:43, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I took a bunch of pictures of him this evening, uploaded them to Commons, and placed these and what was there before in Commons:Category:Krist Novoselic. Diacritic?

What's with the diacritic over the "c" in his surname in several places in the article? As far as I know, this American-born person never used that form of his name. - Jmabel | Talk 06:36, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. It might be on his birth certificate (just guessing), but I don't recall ever seeing his name that way and he doesn't use that form on his current blog. If it can't be verified it should be removed. CAVincent (talk) 01:14, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Foo Fighters Section

This is not accurate. There is a youtube video from 2009 interviewing krist in vancouver and he stated that Dave Ghrol never asked him to join foo fighers. Also I do not believe he ever sang backing vocals on one by one.. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8GmuZZH_YM&feature=related

2008 and Ron Paul

I think Krist deserves more in this Wikipedia page... I feel that people should contribute more and grow this page larger. He is an amazing player on bass, acoustic and accordion.
