Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution, so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. If you are unable to create an account due to your institution's IP address being blocked, follow these instructions. If you are autoblocked repeatedly, contact your network administrator or instructor and request that your school contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on its proxy servers so that blocks will affect only the intended user. Administrators: review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, consider a soft block using {{School block}}. In response to vandalism from this IP address, abuse reports may be sent to its network administrator for investigation.
Educational institution staff and network administrators wishing to monitor this IP address for vandalism can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |
Note for administrators: Please note that this IP address is that of pepys.dur.ac.uk, a proxy server for the network of the University of Durham. Blocking it from editing affects access to the Wikipedia for thousands of students and academics. Please reconsider blocking because of vandalism, or at the very least try to avoid blocking associated usernames as sockpuppets. Strib 11:43, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Someone from this IP just tried to log in to Wikipedia using my username. If it was you, could you possibly explain what you were trying to do? I may be able to help if it was a genuine mistake. -- Francs2000 15:05, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

Just to clarify, this IP belongs to a university network, please don't block it, there's a lot of us who use wiki and are NOT abusing it.--129.234.4.76 11:43, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
Hi there! Duplicated pages can be confusing to Wikipedia readers. Articles like Sunderland A.F.C should redirect to the original article, rather than duplicating them. Just a heads-up, — MC MasterChef :: Leave a tip — 09:33, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
Pointless optimism
Please stop trying to recreate this article. It was sort of funny the first time, except not really. Thanks for your understanding on this matter. — MC MasterChef :: Leave a tip — 09:39, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
Well this definitely isn't me, I haven't so much as edited a Wikipedia page or used a login before. I barely even know how to use this thing. So somebody's using my IP? It could be my college network changing them around for all I know.
