Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Al Jaffee do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. CliffC (talk) 16:15, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
- Frank Jacobs (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
- added links pointing to Jack Davis, Town and Country, Saturday Review, Bob Clarke and Don Martin

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Cracked (magazine) appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. Jargon777 Talk 13:18, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- If you still want to add that content, I suggest writing that this line be reworded or removed - In print, Cracked blatantly copied Mad's layouts and subject matter, and even featured a dumb, wide-cheeked mascot named Sylvester P. Smythe on its covers. Some of the other content you added could be reworded to better fit WP:NPOV as well. Jargon777 Talk
- I'm going to reply here too. Your change is better, but I was also concerned with the use of the word dumb to describe the mascot. Unless the mascot actually was mute, it may be better to remove that word or even use another word. Jargon777 Leave a message 14:50, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Little Annie Fanny, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Prhartcom (talk) 17:56, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
