Thanks for the info. Is this the cryptocurrency source page you were referring to? I will make sure the sources conform to it.

The links to the projects aren't promotional, they're open source projects. Would it be better to link to their code bases or not link to them at all?

Information icon Hello, I'm LilianaUwU. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Lightning Network—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. Hello LilanaUwU. Thanks for the message. I believe listing the major implementations of lightning is critical for an article on lightning -- without them it feels incomplete. What is the best way to list them? Dusty daemon (talk) 20:58, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Find reliable sources, pretty much. I think there's a list of reliable sources when it comes to crypto (and reliable sources on crypto are hard to come by) on the site, but I can't recall if it does exist or where it is if it does. LilianaUwU (talk / contribs) 21:07, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Lightning Network. Wikipedia is not a collection of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Thanks for the info. Is this the cryptocurrency source page you were referring to? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(cryptocurrencies) I will make sure the sources conform to it.

The links to the projects aren't promotional, they're open source projects. Would it be better to link to their code bases or not link to them at all?

Thanks
