Bhagwati Devi Sharma was an Indian social reformer who was the co founder of AWGP.[1][2]
Personal Life
She married Shriram Sharma in 1946[3].She assisted her husband Shriram Sharma to manage international family of All World Gayatri Pariwar and after death of Shriram Sharma she succeeded him as head of AWGP.[4] Her followers call her by the term 'Mataji'.[2][3]

- A school has been established in Jhansi the name of Bhagwati Devi.[5][6]
- Death anniversary of Bhagwati Devi Sharma was celebrated in Giridih.[7][8]
- In her death anniversary 105 lamps where lightened in Shantikunj.[9][10]
- Her death anniversary is celebrated as Prakaatya Diwas in Jharkhand.[11]
