m (Santali:ᱥᱟᱹᱨᱤᱫᱷᱚᱨᱚᱢ) is the name of the religion of the Santal race and one of the ancient religions of india.Nature is worshiped by the Santal caste of West bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand. The founder of this religion is ishtadevata himself Marangburu. Religiously, animists and nature worshipers regard "Marangburu" and "Thakurjiu or Thakuwarjiu" as the creator. Idolatry is not prevalent in religion.

The word sari is derived from the Santali language sarisarjom, meaning sal tree.'Dharam'means religion,the word saridharam is derived from the combination of these two words.
