Wow, pure discrimination.....where did sikhs come from? Is this what the gurus wanted? Where are the sikhs to protect their women from terrorists in Kashmir, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Where was all this pride? You can't jauy create a religion and then want your own nation. What did yhe sgj do in America when the sikh man was attacked and killed for 911? Where were you? Where were you when yhe gurudwaras were attacked in America. It was the hindus who came to help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:147:4100:CC80:AD71:70D3:AB7D:CE32 (talk) 19:56, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
Contested deletion
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Various reliable sources suggest this group has a global outreach, therefore it is not a fringe group. SFJ has been deemed unlawful by the Indian Narendra Modi administration and it is understandable that this is a sensitive topic for some, but deleting this article without reason is not acceptable. --Sardarmann (talk) 07:13, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
Spelling of the name of attorney Gurpatwant Singh Pannu --- is it Pannun?
The first paragraph of the article refers to attorney "Gurpatwant Singh Pannu".
But should his last name be spelled "Pannun" instead?
The internet seems ambiguous with many references to both.
Is it possible that it is some kind of symbolic name, after the Jat family named Pannu?
It would be helpful to present his name in its native form with some information about how it is transliterated into English, and whether it is a real personal name or something else.

- it is a family name, see Tapsee Pannu --DBigXrayᗙ 18:12, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, it should be Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. This is his official name. His firm is "Pannun Law Firm, 75-20 Astoria Blvd, Suite 170, Jackson Heights, New York, NY 11370". The last n implies a nasal pronunciation. see https://digitalcommons.law.scu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1977&context=historical

Indian Hate propaganda against Sikhs For Justice!!
Sikhs For justice is human rights advocacy group that struggling for freedom of Punjab with peaceful and democratic means according to UN Charter. Most of editors based in India are blinded with 'Indian nationalism' hence they using wrong facts and abusive language against this organisation and using this platform as another tool to spread hate propaganda. Sikhs for justice is an international organisation. Hence only people outside India should be allowed to edit this page. And Must maintain neutral point of view with real facts and appropriate language. - Comment @Openthedoor799: I'm only here to comment on this particular line of your's "Hence only people outside India should be allowed to edit this page" . If you have an issue or a suggestion to improve the article you are more than free to edit the article and improve it according to WP's guidelines. Only people from outside India editing the page is actually contradictory to WP's purpose. So, I'd say now that you've given your suggestion, wait a while for other editors to look over it and see how it goes. Also, you might want to see WP:PP because, articles aren't protected from people of a particular country or region but are protected to prevent disruptive editing from new and non trusted users. - Comment @Openthedoor799: I did bit of research about this organisation and Wikipedia page doesn't seem to be doing justice. It is unfortunate that nation state using this platform against political opponents. Senior editions must pay attention.Sainipunjabi (talk) 11:42, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[[User:sainipunjabi|sainipunjabi]

- Comment @Openthedoor799: Comment on "struggling for freedom of Punjab". Punjab has had a democratically elected government ever since the state was created in 1966. Please see List_of_chief_ministers_of_Punjab_(India)#Punjab_(Since_1966). Incidentally all of the Chief Ministers have been Sikh. In the most recent election 2017_Punjab_Legislative_Assembly_election, Congress received 38.6%, Akali Dal received 23.3%, BJP 5.4% of the vote. The political party that supports Khalistan militancy Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), received 0.3% (i.e. less than one percent) of the vote. Malaiya (talk) 01:29, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Plan for wiki revision
plan to adjust the first paragraph about the general knowledge of Sikhs for Justice. I think that this section needs more information about the background of the organization. There is also a part in the first paragraph where it refers to a rightwing Canadian reporter saying the Pakistan has been funding the organization, but there is no other supporting information or sources confirming this. I plan to look more into this to make sure that it is accurate or edit it to be more accurate. I also want to look deeper into the effect the ban has had on Indian Sikhs. I think these changes are important because it can give a more well rounded picture of the organization and what is going on related to it. As of now I think that the page has a very one sided perspective on the organization and I would like to explore more about what the organization believes rather than what outside institutions believe about the organization.
