Capitalization
Hi Barbarbarty, I notice that you re-capitalized "Independent" at Bernie Sanders after I had left an edit comment, explaining why it should not be capitalized. Perhaps you could explain here why you think that it should be capitalized. Note that there is no "Independent" party, so it is not a proper noun. Note also that "independent" is not capitalized anywhere in Independent politician, except where it begins a sentence. I'll look for your reply, here. Cheers, HopsonRoad (talk) 17:34, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
- I was merely following the example I saw on the pages of other politicians that are/were independent. For example, the “Independent” on Jim Jefford’s page is capitalized. I merely thought it would look neater if all party classifications (or lack of one, in this case) were capitalized, and again, the pages of other Independent politicians that had that format. Hopefully, you can understand my rationale. Thanks for reaching out. Barbarbarty (talk) 17:40, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for your prompt and courteous reply, Barbabarty. Clearly, it's a minor matter. However, I'm probably an overzealous stickler for correct usage. So, I'd prefer that the other pages were also an (i), but I'm not so obsessive that I'm going to pursue that quest! Cheers, HopsonRoad (talk) 17:52, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Avril Haines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Democratic Party. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
