==Deletion request== |
Hi Anon, you tried to initiate a deletion discussion for the article Brianne Sloan, but without an account you haven't got sufficient user rights to do this. I removed your listing on today's log. |
If you want to go ahead with the deletion request, please explain your reason here on the page, and I will then complete the process for you. Cheers, Pgallert (talk) 07:56, 26 October 2011 (UTC) |

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to :Comanche County, Oklahoma. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates. |
For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this article. |

Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-wrongsummary --> re this edit described as "corrected typos", actually a change of era style. Barsoomian (talk) 13:34, 16 January 2012 (UTC) |

You have changed the date style of articles from the original BCE/CE style to AD/BC, in defiance of the WP:ERA guidelines you quote elsewhere as justification for your edits. You disingenuously described your edits as as "minor clean up" /"correct typo". You've done the same thing in several edits. Please stop this behaviour. Barsoomian (talk) 08:46, 16 January 2012 (UTC) |
:The guidelines read "Do not arbitrarily change from one era style to the other on any given article. Instead, attempt to establish a consensus for change at the talk page. Reasons for the proposed change should be specific to the content of the article; a general preference for one style over another is not a valid reason." I strongly suggest you stay away from changing era styles. The fact that you have disguised edits with misleading edit summaries is enough for you to have been blocked. Dougweller (talk) 08:51, 16 January 2012 (UTC) |
::There has been no "disguised edits." The WP:ERA is clear on this matter. You should not arbitrarily make these edits, which is exactly what you are doing. In fact, looking through your history, you have an extensive background doing the same thing: changing the date style, then threatening to block those people who change it back. If you indeed have the authority to "block" people, your behavior should be examined. Therefore, I am going to research how I can have your repeated actions examined for wrong doing99.101.160.126 (talk) 15:10, 17 January 2012 (UTC) |
::: These matters can be resolved Dispute resolution noticeboard. If some of my edits should not have taken place, then it was an error. At first I thought these date styles were typos, but in fact, as I looked into the matter, there seems to be an edit war which includes bullying and abuse of power by some admins. I will not dispute any articles in which I made an error. However, a "consensus" isn't reached by User:Barsoomian declaring one. Also, WP:ERA states that "preference" is not a reason to change the date style, so "preference" cannot be used for the reason to achieve a consensus 99.101.160.126 (talk) 15:53, 17 January 2012 (UTC) |
:::: "An error". Every edit you've ever made has been to change the date format to BC/AD. If WP:ERA would be against that, you do it anyway and use a misleading summary, like "correct typo". Barsoomian (talk) 16:33, 17 January 2012 (UTC) |
::::: So now you can read my mind? If I have made an edit in error, point it out to me and I will change it. I admit that I do make mistakes. However, that does not change the fact that you are wrong on the issue before the Dispute resolution noticeboard. A consensus has not been reached to change that date, and a valid reason hasn't been given. The only reason you can provide has to do with preference, so in the end, the original date style will be restored. Will you make the same offer to me as I made to you? Will you restore the edits you made without justification? I doubt you will 99.101.160.126 (talk) 16:39, 17 January 2012 (UTC) |

::::::: Read what you wrote. You are badgering me. I hope you don't have admin authority because if you do, you are abusing your power through harassment and bullying. I may be an old man, but I'm a feisty old man and I will make sure this is fully examined. I am retired. I have all day to defend against bullies, and everything you are writing can be reviewed by others 99.101.160.126 (talk) 22:56, 17 January 2012 (UTC) |

:::::::: Read what you wrote. "correct typo", "minor clean up". Anyone who reviews those and similar edits can see what your agenda is. Barsoomian (talk) 03:36, 18 January 2012 (UTC) |

Here's another one, Oikos that was changed to BC by 99.101.160.126 on 30 October 2011, the edit falsely described as "Restored original style per WP:ERA.", when the date style BCE was used throughout, (first dates introduced 2007, BCE format). The ability to AGF is diminishing. Barsoomian (talk) 07:46, 19 January 2012 (UTC) |
: I already explained that. When I went to school there wasn't any such thing as BCE, so I thought it was a typo. The fact that you are trying to label me as having an agenda shows that you obviously have an agenda. My edits were done in error from ignorance. You cannot claim that same because you KNEW you were violating the rules at WP:ERA. This tells me that you are the one with the agenda! 99.101.160.126 (talk) 00:44, 21 January 2012 (UTC) |

::You "thought it was a typo". Now I know you were and are being deliberately deceitful. When you discovered your "edits were done in error from ignorance", why didn't you go back and fix all the articles you had incorrectly changed? You have NEVER changed any article to BCE. You ONLY change to BC, citing WP:ERA , sometimes falsely, when you think it will help, ignoring it otherwise. Barsoomian (talk) 03:36, 21 January 2012 (UTC) |

::: I hope people come and read everything you wrote. You are harassing and bullying me. I intend to report this because no one deserves to be badgered like you are badgering me. You have said how you feel a handful of times. You have no reason to continue the harassment. Do not contact me anymore! Your attempts to intimidate me have failed 99.101.160.126 (talk) 06:13, 21 January 2012 (UTC) |

::::I'm not talking about "how I feel". I'm pointing out that you have used misleading editing summaries to cover up your edits that break the policy you insist you are upholding. Barsoomian (talk) 07:43, 21 January 2012 (UTC) |

::::: You won't stop harassing me will you? When I wrote that something was a typo it was because I thought it was. How many times do I have to explain that when I went to school many years ago there was no such thing as BCE? Whether you choose to accept that or not is up to you, but you have no right to badger me over and over about the same things. There were no intentionally misleading edits, no cover ups and no black helicopters flying above your house. Why don't you go do something constructive and leave me alone? This is now my SECOND time asking you not to contact me anymore. I don't appreciate being harassed over a dumb date style dispute. Grow up! 99.101.160.126 (talk) 08:05, 21 January 2012 (UTC) |

:::::: You started this "dumb " dispute, and are still fighting in on two other pages, attacking me in the process, calling for administrative action against me. And just stop with this story about how you "thought it was a typo". You referred to WP:ERA in your second edit as 99.101.160.126 : 19 January 2011. WP:ERA is a couple of paragraphs, and the BCE system is described in the third sentence. ("CE and BCE are common in some academic and religious writing.") So you cannot both cite WP:ERA and claim ignorance of the term in the many later edits you made. Barsoomian (talk) 08:24, 21 January 2012 (UTC) |
