Bizzy Bone |
---|
Bizzy Bone (born Bryon Anthony McCane on September 12, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio) is an American rapper and former member of the rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
He is probably most known for his diverse vocal delivery, ranging from a soft, high-pitched tenor to a more rugged-sounding, deeper voice. He is also highly regarded for his exceptionally fast flow, which is one of the fastest in hip hop history.
Background
Born to an African American/Native American father and Italian/Jewish mother.
Hip hop career
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
Bizzy Bone started in hip-hop as a founding member of the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Formed in 1993, the Cleveland-based crew first caught the ear of N.W.A. member Eazy-E.
Their trademark double and triple-time sung/rapped harmonies brought something new to the table at a time when most acts were busy trying to imitate what was featured on Dr. Dre's The Chronic. The unique sound prompted multi-platinum record sales, won them a Grammy, and brought the spotlight to the long-neglected Midwestern hip-hop community. With Bizzy as a member Bone Thugs have sold over 30 Million Records Worldwide.
Solo
As a solo performer, Bizzy Bone is well known for his hardcore unique fast, high-speed rhyme and sometimes evil rapping style, metaphorical lyrics, and unique singing abilities.
