Craig Rivet (Born September 13, 1974 in North Bay, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who plays for the San Jose Sharks in the National Hockey League. He was an alternate captain of the Canadiens (along with Sheldon Souray) during 2006-07. He is also great friends with Montreal Canadiens captain Saku Koivu.
On February 25, 2007, Craig Rivet was traded to the San Jose Sharks alongside a 2008 fifth round pick for Josh Gorges and a 2007 first round pick.
