Del Bajío International Airport (sometimes called Guanajuato International Airport) (IATA: BJX, ICAO: MMLO) is an international airport located between Silao and León, Guanajuato, Mexico. It handles national and international air traffic of the city of León, and its metropolitan area including the state capital, Guanajuato. Del Bajío Airport is an important connecting point for some flights from Mexico City to the United States.
The airport is going through a mayor construction project, which will allow the terminal to handle up to 8 million passengers per year, with a new image, and the introduction of new glass jetways.
