Sheehan Winery moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Sheehan Winery, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello Raffybund. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Raffybund. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Raffybund|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS 💬 17:49, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
"Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists." -- Will stick to this, otherwise this looks like a minefield of accusations. Raffybund (talk) 15:57, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for disclosing your paid editing status, but that's not enough. As per WP:PAID you also need to disclosed link(s) to all active accounts at websites where you advertise paid Wikipedia-editing services. Please do so before making any further edit to comply with full disclosure guidelines. GSS 💬 16:26, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
"Need to disclose links to all active accounts where you advertise paid editing services..." I'm a category management intern and paid by the hour. Everyone is remote because of Coronavirus. I'd be uncomfortable sharing more than https://www.internships.com/posting/bug_38943788755 which is how I got the internship. I really just need help with that Empathy Wines page, which my coach asked me to look into since I volunteered, which I hopefully won't regret.
Constellation has other subsidiaries on Wikipedia and Empathy Wines is their DTC brand and therefore (*most*) important one.
Is that something you can just look into? User:GSS
Disambiguation link notification for April 2
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Claudio Herrera (musician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Durango, Mexico. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:07, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
That's now fixed -- thanks. Raffybund (talk) 14:29, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
Removal of draft decline template
Please do not remove the decline templates as you've done here: [1]. Declaring a paid relationship with the brand still means that the wiki rules apply; the removal was not appropriate. --K.e.coffman (talk) 01:04, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
Ok -- thank you! Raffybund (talk) 03:26, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
