The Ustasa where in charge of the the Independent State of Croatia from 1941-1945, they came into power when [[Germany]] invaded [[Yugoslavia]]. When the Germans were defeated in [[World War II]] the Ustase went underground and continued to fight for Croatia's independence from Yugoslavia. |

The Independent State of Croatia (Nezavisna Drzava Hrvatska) was formed on Thursday, April 10, 1941 led by Ustasa leader Dr Ante Pavelic. The Ustasa where in charge of the the Independent State of Croatia from 1941-1945, they came into power when Germany invaded Yugoslavia. When the Germans were defeated in World War II the Ustase went underground and continued to fight for Croatia's independence from Yugoslavia.
