Rohit Kumar born 23 July 1996 in Fatehpur village of Ambala district in Haryana is an Indian Professional Rower. He is currently serving in the Indian Army.[1][2]
Early life
Rohit Kumar hails from Ambala and his father was a farmer. He joined the army in 2012. Rohit kunar began rowing in 2012 at an army training camp in Roorkee[3], had won a bronze in the Asian games 2014, in Incheon.[4]
Career
2018 Asian Games
Rohit Kumar won Bronze at the Asian Games 2018 paired with Bhagwan Singh (Rower).[5]
These two scullers were selected after finishing first at the National Qualifying Regatta event in Pune, India. He Competes in Men's Lightweight Double Sculls Paired With Bhagwan Singh (Rower[6]).
