Col d'Izoard (el. 2361 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Alps in the department of Hautes-Alpes in France.
It connects Briançon on the north and Guillestre. [1] [2]
It is frequently on the routhe of the Tour de France and has seen some dramatic incidents. A small cycling museum is at the summit.
Characteristics
- Summit 2361 m. above sea level
- 15.9km has an average climb of 6.9% from Guillestre and 20km has 5.7% from Briançon.
