Dato' Seri Sri Ramachandra Gopal Iyer ((16 August 1943– 23 January 2023) was a Malaysian judge of the Federal Court. Sri Ram was a respected lawyer, a former Federal Court judge and a constitutional jurist.[1] He was also the lead prosecutor for the RM1.25 billion solar hybrid project corruption case involving Najib’s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.[2]

Education

Sri Ram was a bencher of the Lincoln's Inn and was called to the English bar before being admitted to the Malaysian bar as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1970.

Sri Ram was married to Chandra Sri Ram and has two sons, one of whom is a practising lawyer.

Death

On 23 January 2023, Sri Ram died in hospital after being warded for lung infection a week before.[1]
