Also, "treatment assistance" is an unclear term; what does it mean? And the sentence reads as if the source says that all T1 diabetics suffer from one such episode per year, which I find very doubtful. [[User:Sjö|Sjö]] ([[User talk:Sjö|talk]]) 06:39, 5 June 2022 (UTC) |

Infobox
The article has grown an infobox with a lot of ICD-9 codes. As hypoglycemia is not a disease but a symptom, is there any way to present this information? JFW | T@lk 6 July 2005 22:33 (UTC)
user:arcadian put the info box there labeled leukemia. I changed it to hypoglycemia and added the icd9 codes covered by the article. I am not sure that it is a particularly informative box as it stands, but a long table of icd9 codes certainly doesn't belong at the top of the page either. Any suggestions? alteripse 6 July 2005 23:46 (UTC)
Jameson (2008) needs verification and clarification
The Epidemiology sections says that hypoglycemia causes death in 6-10% of people with T1 diabetes. It sounds high, and [1] gives the number 6 % for "dead in bed syndrome" for people under 40 which is where the 6 % figure might come from. Please check the source to see if the 6-10% number is total or restricted to some age group.
Also, "treatment assistance" is an unclear term; what does it mean? And the sentence reads as if the source says that all T1 diabetics suffer from one such episode per year, which I find very doubtful. Sjö (talk) 06:39, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
