Gene Simmons

[edit]

Hi there and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed a recent edit that you made at Gene Simmons adding guitar as one of his instruments in his infobox. Previously guitar was a part of the infobox, along with piano and drums. I had felt that since his primary instrument was bass, that bass should be the only instrument in the infobox. I then brought it up on the talkpage, no one argued against it, and I removed it. I'm not saying that I'm right and you're wrong, I'm merely bringing up procedure for potentially controversial edits. My original comments are at Talk:Gene Simmons#Infobox instruments, please feel free to comment there and I'm sure that we (you, the other editors, and I) can reach a consensus that we all can live with. Thanks, J04n(talk page) 14:36, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Aslag Guttormsgaard. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Daniel Kvist has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

not clear how this musician meets notability guidelines

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 00:07, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Anthony "Abaddon" Bray requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to In Lingua Mortua. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. and others Codf1977 (talk) 13:03, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lars Eric Si has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of how this might meet notability guidelines. Lacks citations to significant coverage in reliable sources.

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to List of people diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 16:26, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Tore Moren has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello,

i noticed you edited a Mixed Martial Arts page in August, but you haven't listed yourself as a Participant on the Wikiproject for Mixed Martial Arts pages. I've decided to try to drum up interest to get more people involved!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chin (combat sports), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Min-Soo Kim (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
