The airline was founded as FlyWestair’s in 2019 as Namibia’s first privately-owned scheduled passenger airline. In June 2019, the airline was granted designated carrier status by the Namibian Transport Commission. The airline was founded as FlyWestair’s in 2019 as Namibia’s first privately-owned scheduled passenger airline. In June 2019, the airline was granted designated carrier status by the Namibian Transport Commission.
