Luminous Arc is a brand new strategy RPG from Marvelous for the Nintendo DS. The game will feature character designs by Shibano Kaito and music by Yasunori Mitsuda. This game will be like other standard tactical role-playing games and feature voiced scenes as you continue to advance through the game. The top screen will be used to display unit information while the game is played on the bottom screen, both touch-screen controls and standard controls will be available. Touch-screen controls can also be altered to cater to left handed players. One of the special traits in this game will be the Drive Gauge, when it is filled the player can then use a deathblow attack to kill an enemy. Another draw of the game is the online multiplayer, which utilizes the Nintendo WiFi Connection. Luminous Arc was released in Japan on 8 February 2007. Recently, the game has been announced for release in North America in 2007 by Atlus U.S.A. A European release has yet to be announced.
