Louise Small (born 27 March 1992) is a British long-distance runner.
She trains at Aldershot, Farnham And District Athletic Club, and has been coached by Mick Woods since she first joined in 2006[1]
In 2008, Small was selected to join On Camp with Kelly,[2] a mentoring and education program set up by Dame Kelly Holmes for aspiring young athletes.
Small is an alumni of St Mary's University where she attained a BSc in Sports Coaching Science followed by a PGCE in Primary Education and finally a Masters in Pedagogical Leadership in Physical Education and Sport[3]
Small is currently sponsored by sports company Hoka[4] and was previously sponsored by Nike

U18/Juniors
2007, age 15 she competed in the women's 1500m at the 2007 IAAF World Youth Championships held in Ostrava, Czech Republic. She finished 6th in heat 1[5]
February 2009, she competed in the Cross Country Junior International[6] in Lisbon, Portugal. She finished in individual gold medal position and part of the gold medal winning team.
March 2009, she competed in the junior women's race at the 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Amman, Jordan. She finished 34th[7]
July 2009, she competed in the women's 1500m at the 2009 IAAF World Youth Championships held in Bressanone-Brixen, Italy. She finished 5th in the final.[8]
July 2009, she competed in the 3000m at the 2009 European Junior Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia. She won bronze medal. [9]
March 2011, she competed in the junior women's race at the 2011 IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Punta Umbría, Spain.[10] She finished in 29th place.[10]
May 2011, she competed in the 3000m for the GB junior team at the Loughborough International, UK. She finished 16th[11]
Seniors
2012, she competed in the women's World University Cross Country Championships in Lodz, Poland. She finished 56th[12]
2016, she competed in the women's 10000m at the European 10000m cup in Mersin, Turkey, where she fished 12th and was part of the Gold medal winning team.[13]
March 2017, she competed in the senior women's race at the 2017 IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Kampala, Uganda.[14] She finished in 38th place.[14]
June 2017, she competed in the women's 10000m at the European 10,000m cup[15] in Minsk, Belarus, and finished 16th[16]
August 2017, she also represented Great Britain at the 2017 Summer Universiade held in Taipei, Taiwan.[17][18] She finished in 4th place in the women's 5000 metres event and in 10th place in the women's 10,000 metres event.[17][18]
2018 she competed in the women's 10000m at the European 10000m cup in London, and finished 7th, part of the Gold medal winning team[19]
