Notable cases

I have removed a large section of text regarding Chandrachud's "notable cases". The declaration of whether a particular case is notable or not cannot be made simply by citing the case itself, but must arise from reliable secondary sources that have written about the cases, such as law texts, law journal articles, or reliable news coverage. Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud → D. Y. Chandrachud – WP:UCRN rule of Wikipedia suggests that the title should be named after the subject's common name. When you search "Chandrachud" on google, it is axiomatic that Justice Chandrachud is referred to as D. Y. Chandrachud or DY Chandrachud commonly by reliable news sources more than Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, and thus, it is suggested to be entertained in that manner. The official and current judge list on the official website of the Supreme Court also refers to the doctor as D. Y. • Oppose. D. Y. Chandrachud is not his common name, it is merely an abbreviation for his common name. A search of Google news revealed the following:
  • Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud 50
  • Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud 175
  • D.Y. Chandrachud 203

The convenient abbreviation is common in news stories, but not overwhelmingly so. It is not like Joanne Rowling who is known by her pen-name J. K. Rowling.-- Toddy1 (talk) 18:31, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

• Support per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:INITS. Many reliable sources omit periods in the initials, therefore adding periods in the search term may not yield accurate results. DY Chandrachud gives about ~38,000 hits on Google news, which is exceedingly more than Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud which gives mere ~368 hits. -- Ab207 (talk) 10:52, 10 July 2021 (UTC)

Your search only gives 211 hits if you go to the last page, which is what I did. You generally get massively inflated numbers if you do not do that.-- Toddy1 (talk) 11:23, 10 July 2021 (UTC)

Wikipedia Sister Projects

I recently added the links of wikipedia sister projects on this Wikipedia page. However, I was surprised to find that the notable subject was not at all covered in any of the projects. The subject has enough works (Supreme Court judgements) in public domain.
