Plot

Bindhya, an orphaned village girl has an ambition to marry a man living in Lucknow. Due to lack of educational resources in the village and household chores, she did not receive any formal education. On the other side, Abhay Bharadwaj, a famous IPS Officer lives with his family in Lucknow and has decided to get married to his love interest Megha, an educated girl. When Bindhya packs her belongings and arrives at Lucknow, she gets attacked by goons and is rescued by Abhay. She gets trapped in the city and Abhay brings Bindhya inside his house.

The family is shocked to see Abhay with Bindhya and his mother Bhafi Devi decides to get her son married to her instead. Bindhya's uncle and her aunt like this arrangement but Abhay objects to this wedding as Bindhya is an uneducated girl.
