Disambiguation link notification for March 23
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Saint-Martin-de-Mieux, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Falaise. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Mole Valley SCR

Hi, slightly confused by why my update for Mole Valley SCR has not been accepted - although i did not set up the original wiki page, i did actually write the history (in conjunction with the club founder and secretary), so there should be no issue with copyrighting.

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Lew Bradford. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 15:12, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, thanks for confirming - please use an informative edit summary in future. Regards, GiantSnowman 15:28, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bletchley Town F.C,

Hi, please note that you cannot give the modern Bletchley Town credit for the history and honours of the clubs that have previously used the name Bletchley Town F.C. Please revisit the page to make clear what is the history of previous clubs and what is the modern club. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 23:35, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, that's what I meant, good work. If you feel like it there are a lot of leagues you could wlink but you'd need to check for disambigs eg Southern League. Just because the others do it doesn't make it right, so feel free to correct those too. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 21:29, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-league task force

Hey, nice work on the non-league football articles :D It'd be great if you could join the Non-league football taskforce. You already seem to be helping quite a few of the projects the task force is working on. Cheers! Delsion23 (talk) 22:02, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

One quick tip. For seasons, WP:MOSDASH requires the use of an endash ( – ) between numbers e.g. 1998–99, as opposed to the use of a hyphen 1998-99. To create an endash either type – or type ALT 0150. Alternatively you can follow the simple instructions here to have a special tool that corrects the dashes for you on any page you come accross. It's very useful, and it's saved me a lot of time the past few months! Cheers Delsion23 (talk) 22:12, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just so you know how to use the script now that you've installed it, you go to the tab at the top of the article you are viewing. There is a drop down tab just next to the star for adding things to your watchlist. Then you click on the "–" symbol. It then takes you to the edit, which you can then check and save. Cheers Delsion23 (talk) 22:43, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you - for your simple explanation, I have always wondered how this was done as i could only ever find one dash on the keyboard :). I will apply this now so people don't have to. I am happy at the moment to be a member of your taskforce, but my interest is only to try and make southern non-league articles non-stubbed or at least set up in a manner so that others can keep it updated, I have no desire to rate how important they are and would leave that too others to decide.Babylon77 (talk) 22:51, 5 July 2012 (UTC)babylon77[reply]
That's no problem :) Everyone has their own particular niche. Glad the explanation helped. I used to input all the endashes manually... can you imagine how long that used to take! :D Delsion23 (talk) 23:13, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
ok cool, do i add myself to the list then as active member?Babylon77 (talk) 06:28, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar for you

Notable players

Hi Babylon77, just a note to say I undid your revert at Banstead Athletic F.C.. I think the criteria you use are too vague, the fact that a player has gone on to play in a fully professional league is something that makes the player himself notable, but does not make him a notable player of the club, if you see what I mean? if he had won several championships while at the club, I would think that would make him a notable former player, whereas if he goes on to play at a professional club, he is merely a notable player formerly of the club. This is best highlighted by the player on the list who was only at the club as a youth player. he can't be a notable former player as he was never a first team player originally. Additionally, your list is fully unreferenced which is also a major concern. If you disagree, maybe it would be a good idea to take it to the WP:FOOTY talk page for consensus? Fenix down (talk) 20:21, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No issue at all with the criteria you have added, but are you able to reference the section? Fenix down (talk) 23:55, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

AFC Mansfield deletion discussion

Many thanks for your support regarding the proposal to delete my article about AFC Mansfield and for re-iterating to the person wanting the article deleted that this article meets the notability criteria established by the Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/English non-league task force.(Rillington (talk) 02:41, 1 August 2013 (UTC))[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Worplesdon Phoenix F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spurs. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hamstead Marshall Pit

Hi, I think you made a mistake on this article - seems like it's "Hamstead Marshall Pit" not "Hampstead Marshall Pit" which was what you had it as. I've moved it now, and changed a citation which seemed to be the wrong url to a different SSSI's records. Let me know what you think. Blythwood (talk) 05:34, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Spacing

Please be aware of your spacing between paragraphs like on Alder Moors. I already fixed it but there is no need to double space between sections. Thanks. --Jennica / talk 01:26, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
