When was Martin Carthy born? There are roughly as many websites claiming it was 1941 as there are sites claiming that it was 1940.

Yes, I deliberated over that myself when adding it. But then I found a reference to him having a concert for his 60th birthday in 2001, so I figured that was probably right. Unfortunately I just searched and found a reference to the 60th birthday concert in 2000! I'll do a little more research and see if I can figure it out. Everyking 07:52, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I did a Lexis Nexis search and I found an Observer music review from May 20 2001 which talks about his 60th birthday concert and mentions that his 60th birthday is "tomorrow" (May 21). So I guess that pretty much confirms it. Everyking 07:57, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
