• Entertaining hook. Article was promoted to GA three days ago, is long enough, and the hook is verified by the sources and within the text.       • Rethinking this, I think ALT1 seems like a more suitable hook, as the first one may not be the most ideal per WP:CENSORMAIN. I don't think it matters too much whether it says "desperate" or "thirsty", either would work just as well. But I think I'll leave that up to whoever handles the promotion of the hook.
