For over a decade, Steve competed on the Professional Grand Prix Tennis Circuit where he ranked top 50 in the world. His opponents spanned from Laver to Lendl. As a Maryland Junior, Steve captured 4 MSA Singles Titles and with a National ranking of 7th was elected to the US Junior Davis Cup Team. An All American at UCLA, Steve received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Knesiology. Born and raised in Baltimore, with dual citizenship, Steve played #1 for Israel's Davis Cup Team and has coached that Davis Cup Team as well. Nine years in a row Steve finished in the top 100 players in the world. He has competed on the prestigious "Grand Champions" Circuit and was inducted into the Mid-Atlantic Tennis Hall of Fame. |

Steve's top international protege is Peru's Jaime Yzaga, whose world ranking rocketed to the top 20 under Steve's direction. Steve has worked with Davis Cup Stars Gilad Bloom (Israel) and Tom Shimada (Japan), and rising star Vince Spadca (USA). Locally, Steve has helped develop young pro stars, Reed Cordish and Patrick Osuna. |
