He studied mechanical engineering at the [[National Institute of Technology, Rourkela]] and graduated in 2015. After graduating, he worked as a mechanical engineer for a few years. Chinmoy Barma (born 7 August 1997 in Nalbari) is a painter and director from Assam, India.

Education

He grew up with a passion for art.[1][2]

He studied mechanical engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela and graduated in 2015. He then worked as a mechanical engineer for a few years. However, he always had a passion for art and filmmaking and eventually decided to pursue a career in these fields.[3]

In 2018, he enrolled in the Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata. He graduated from the institute in 2021 with a Diploma in Filmmaking. After graduation, he moved back to Assam and started working on his project.[3]

He paints ghosts and popular legends of Assamese folklore with the help of artificial intelligence. His paintings became instantly popular on social media and attracted the attention of art lovers all over the world.[3][4][5]
