Hairul Azreen Idris (born 23 April 1988) is a Malaysian male actor, stuntmant, model and director. Starting his career in the world of entertaiment as a suntmant before being active as an actor, he was a Champion Fear Factor Malaysia (Season 1) together Dazrin Kamarudin.

He has acted in several TV drama series including Bio-Nik (2009), Adolescent Ponti (2010), Till my last breath (2013) and Misiku Kuza (2013–2014). Among his acting films areGhost of Kapcai (2012), Crazy Teens 2 (2013), Mr Pong (2017) and PASKAL (2018).

Early life

Hairul Azreen was born on April 23, 1988 in Kuala Lumpur to his parents Idris Ali and Habsah Desa. He has four siblings, he is the second child. Hairul is educated Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM). He studied martial artsTaekwondo, while receiving a black belt as well as having been an athlete 2004 Malaysian Games for the contingent Selangor.

After finishing SPM, Hairul worked as a street painter in Shah Alam Highway (Kesas) with a fee of RM50 per day. He once faced the risk of being hit by a speeding vehicle while doing painting work. He then changed his job as a car tow for those who did not make bank payments.[1]

Career

Hairul started his early career as a stuntman for several local films.[2] His first acting drama was through a directed drama Shahrulezad Mohameddin, Rona Roni Macaroni starring by Sharifah Amani, Dira Abu Zahar, Sharifah Sofia, Wan Sharmila, Bront Palarae and Azma Aizal Yusof. It was followed by a supporting role in a science fiction drama series Bio-Nik acting Kamal Adli in 2009.

Hairul then worked under the direction Ghaz Abu Bakar through a mystery horror drama Adolescent Ponti acting Liyana Jasmay.[3] He made his first appearance on the big screen through a movie Senario The Movie Ops Pocot instructions Ismail Bob Hashim acting Scenario group. Hairul then succeeded in the supporting role as Akim in the film Ghost of Kapcai directed by Ghaz acting Zizan Razak and Remy Ishak.[4] Hairul also appeared as an actor in the music video of the song "Love Face Book" singing Najwa Latif.

In 2013, he was with the actor Dazrin Kamarudin participate in a reality show Fear Factor Malaysia which is hosted by Aaron Aziz. As a result, he and Dazrin were crowned champions.[5][6][7][8] In addition, he acted on the side I'm Mustapha, More Zed, Zul Yahya, and Zarina Zainuddin in series 5 Singles first order Eizlan Yusof broadcast on Cindai Slot TV1. It tells the story of five friends, Tarmizi, Benn, Otai, Johari and Borhan, who rent a house without higher education, but care for each other.[9]

Hairul gained widespread attention through his role as Airiel in the medical drama Misiku Kuza starring by Erin Malek and Air Lee. His girlfriend at the time, an actress Faralyna Idris also acting.[10] In addition, Hairul along with Faralyna succeeded in the lead role in the director's film V. Nagaraj, Crazy Teens 2, a sequel to the 1985 film, Crazy Teens instructions of the deceased Hussein Abu Hassan acting Faisal Hussain. He plays the role of Afiq who comes from a rich family and is interested in motorcycle racing and likes to dance.[11] This movie also stars Taiyuddin Bakar, Fizz Fairuz and Bella Dally.

He is with his wife Hanis Zalikha appeared in the show Hairul & Hanis Junior which aired on astro ria, then followed by My Little Heroes: Yusuf & Bujibu featuring his son,Yusuf Iskandar as the mainstay.[12][13] Hairul starred in Malaysia's first firefighter movie, Healthy directed by Rosli Mohd Taib.[14][15][16]

On September 27, 2018, Hairul was one of the main actors of the film PASCAL instructions Adrian Tea together Ammar Alfian, Taufiq Hanafi, Henley Hii and Jasmine Suraya Chin; he plays the role of Arman.[17][18] The film was a commercial success and received positive reviews from the media.[19][20] Returning to work with Adrian, Hairul played the role of Hassan in the film HERO which aired on November 21, 2019.[21]

He returned to work under the direction of Adrian Teh through films Article you! for which he also served as executive producer and author of the original story. Released on October 1, 2020 at Netflix, it also stars Janna Nick, Amerul Affendi, Henley Hii and Sophia Albarakbah.

Hairul occupied the director's chair through the first film he directed, There are ghosts which aired on August 13, 2021 at Disney+ Hotstar.[22][23]

Private life

He had previously been in a relationship with an actor Faralyna Idris around 2011 and intend to marry him.[24] However, their relationship ended in February 2013.[25] He is married to an actor, lawyer and bloggerHanis Zalikha on June 8, 2015.[26][27] Together with Hanis, he was blessed with a son named Yusuf Iskandar who was born on June 3, 2016.

On 26 January 2018, he was called by the police to testify at the Perak Tengah District Police Office (IPD) regarding the dissemination of a 49-second video recording that showed Hairul firing two shots using an SK500 type shotgun, owned by his 70-year-old uncle. which is also seen in the video at German Trench Village, Sitiawan and claimed the shooting was recorded two years ago and did not expect the video to go viral.[28][29][30]

He once again became a hot topic when his 'flying stunt' video went viral on social media in February 2018.Men's World Trade Center (PWTC) has received criticism from netizens.[31] Hairul was reportedly injured while doing a stunt for a film Hero on May 1, 2019, which caused a torn ligament in his leg.[32][33] On May 24, 2019, Hairul and his wife, Hanis Zalikha, were blessed with a second child, a daughter named Alisa Aisyah; he also informed that both his children were born on Friday.[34][35][36][37]
