The 2024 San Francisco District Attorney special election will be held on November 5, 2024, concurrent with the election for San Francisco mayor and the 2024 statewide general elections.[1]

That year, Jenkins was elected to serve out the remaining two years of Boudin's term with 53.7% of the vote. Jenkins is eligible to run for re-election to a full term in office.
