Howard County General Hospital is a non-profit hospital affiliated with Johns Hopkins Hospital and located in Columbia, Maryland. It serves as the primary medical facility for much of Howard County, Maryland. Founded in 1973 as a local, 59 bed facility, Howard County General has since grown to house 182 beds and specializes in women's and children's services, surgery, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, gerontology, psychiatry, emergency services, and community health education.
