Yasmin Monet Prince is a British actress from London.
Career
From Sydenham, London, and an attendee of both Shakespeare’s Globe youth company, and the BRIT School, she made her screen debut in the 2016 Mahalia Belo TV film Ellen for Channel 4.[1] The film was well revived and won a 2017 British Academy Television Craft Award in the best breakthrough talent category for Bello.[2]
Monet Prince has a recurring role as Clara Mahan in Amazon Studios’ action series Hanna alongside Esme Creed-Miles and Dermot Mulroney, with her character being promoted to a series regular in season two.[3][4]
In 2020 she appeared in Unsaid Stories, opposite Nicholas Pinnock and was named by Screen Daily as one of the “stars of tomorrow”.[5]
In 2021 she could be seen as Alison in the British romantic comedy film Boxing Day.[6] In 2023 she plays Ruth in the Sky Max comedy drama Then You Run.[7]
