:Hi, i'm reminded of locally stored SSH certificates to access some remote host, as a credential.
:If the passkey credential is compared directly with the other side (like PAP), i'd think it would be more secure to compare some computational result based on the passkeys of both sides (like CHAP), where the credential does NOT get transmitted.
